CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

ZEROtherm’s new Nirvana NV120 is a very, very nice product that combines great looks and cooling with easy installation. The included fan speed controller allows the Nirvana to operate at near silence while still providing excellent cooling performance. In addition, its blue LED fan also adds a bit of visual interest to a very well constructed product. Priced at around $60 US, the Nirvana isn’t cheap, but with all it’s got going for it, I’d consider it a very good value. A two-year warranty only sweetens the deal and, as of this writing, a $10 rebate is available from a number of online retailers.
Looking for a good CPU cooler? I can highly recommend the Nirvana NV120 from ZEROtherm. Just make sure that you don’t have any interference issues near the socket for maximum flexibility regarding cooler orientation.
Pros:
- Great cooling
- Great look
- Excellent fit and finish
- Wide compatibility
- Blue LED fan
- Included fan speed controller
- Simple, easy mounting solutions
Cons:
- Interference issues with some boards
- Looks too good to hide in a case, get a window!
