PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

The specifications, taken from the ZEROtherm website, are largely self-explanatory, but readers should take note of the fact that, unlike their previous VGA cooling products, a fan speed controller is included with the Hurricane.

As the name suggests, the Hurricane HC92 CU 8800 is ostensibly designed for the Nvidia 8800-series video cards, this cooler is compatible with other platforms. Also note that the Hurricane is fairly bulky and will take up space equivalent to three slots, which will likely preclude its use in many SLI/CrossFire applications.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Inside the attractive retail box, we find the contents nestled into an easily opened plastic capsule containing…

…the manual, fan speed controller, thermal compound, mounting hardware, a bag of heatsinks and the Hurricane cooler itself. We'll go over these items in more detail in the next section, but suffice it to say that the ZEROtherm Hurricane is a full-featured product with nice accessories and a very distinctive look.
