One of the best features of the GX815 is its thermally controlled fan, which speeds up as the GPU produces more heat during heavy use. According to the specs, the fan should remain inaudible during all but the most demanding use. Graphics card compatibility is good, with most modern boards, except the Nvidia 8800 series, supported. This small, lightweight cooler also promises to be very quiet, and includes memory heatsinks.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The GX810 comes in an attractive silver cardboard carton complete with a plastic carry handle. Inside, the components are sandwiched in a clear plastic tray and cover. Along with the cooler, there are two different sets of mounting hardware, green anodized aluminum ramsinks, a syringe of the excellent ZEROtherm thermal compound and a users guide.
