ZALMAN VF700-CU LED INTRODUCTION
With GPUs becoming more powerful and generating more heat, aftermarket cooling solutions for the graphics card are becoming more and more popular. While the heat is bad enough, the noise associated with the stock coolers can be unpleasant, to say the least. So, a VGA cooler that not only lowered temps, but was very quiet would be a good thing, right? And if it had a cool blue LED fan, wouldn’t that be even better? Damn right it would! And our old friends at Zalman have just such a critter in their product line. It’s called the VF799-Cu LED ultra quiet VGA cooler and we’re going to put one of these babies to the test and see how it performs. I’ll be comparing it to the stock cooler on a card I’m using in a HTPC build where quiet is king!
