ZALMAN CORPORATE PROFILE

Despite the fact that computers have become commonplace at home and at workplaces for a long time, true user-friendliness of the computers is still a long shot. At Zalman Tech, we strive to make that goal a closer reality through extensive research and development of our products. We were the world first in reducing computer's noise down to lower than 20dB, thus creating a more user-friendly computing environment. Now it is possible to use a computer without distracting noise and to form high fidelity audio system or home theatre without ambient noise.
Zalman Tech will continue to make efforts at creating more enhanced levels of user friendliness in computing; we believe that we have the ability and determination to achieve this goal. Your support and interest is greatly appreciated.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

If you spend much time in online computer forums, I'm sure you've read it many, many times. “Which thermal paste is best?” For the last several years a couple of products by a single supplier seem to always top the list. Zalman has a new product out that they claim yields better thermal performance than the competition as well as being easier to apply. They've sent us a bottle of their ZM-STG1 (AKA Super Thermal Grease) to try out. Let's see how it stands up to one of its rivals.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

The bottle contains 3.5 grams of the super stuff. As we'll see later, it comes with a brush in the cap to make application easier and more precise. Zalman claims that the bottle-and-cap configuration will allow up to ten applications. I'm unsure what this actually means, but there seems to be enough material for more than ten applications.
