The enclosure is constructed of sturdy aluminum and the overall craftsmanship is of high quality. A backlit LCD screen is at the top, and we'll take a closer look at that later on in the review.

On the top of the enclosure is a USB 2.0 and eSATA connector. There is also a lock switch to write protect the contents of the drive.

Zalman includes a carrying pouch that leaves the top section exposed, so you can still use the drive while it's inside the pouch if you need to quickly copy a file.

On the side of the unit is a jog switch for navigating the screen. The user can scroll up, down, or press the switch in to navigate and confirm selections.

The top of the enclosure pulls away from the rest of the case, exposing a connector for the HDD. All that's left to do now is attach a drive, so let's move on to installation and testing.
