PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The exterior packaging of the VF3000F is bright and eye catching, definitely capturing attention of anyone within range. The front has a small window where you can catch a glimpse of the cooler while the back side is all business. The rear packaging lists the key features both with bulletins and pictures. The important specifics are tucked in the bottom corner as well. Let's see what else is inside.

Immediately after opening the packaging the accessories are the first items we see. We have a nicely printed user's manual, the FAN MATE 2 fan controller, necessary mounting hardware, and a full size tube Zalman's ZM-STG2 thermal grease. These first impressions of just the extras really prove the people at Zalman went the extra mile to to include everything.

Digging deeper we find a single heatsink to cool the video ram and memory chips. This is extremely nice to see as some graphics cards have well over 10 areas for individual heatsinks, making this single installation much easier. This simple piece of hardware raises the bar for all other aftermarket cooling manufacturers.
