The outer casing of the drive has an attractive brushed black finish. A large Zalman logo along with the drive's capacity is splashed across the front.
The connectors for a power cable from the PSU and a SATA cable are at the edge of the drive, and the USB port is also located here. No external power source is required if you connect the drive via USB.
Not many desktop PC cases can accommodate a 2.5” drive without buying a separate mounting bracket or doing some creative mods on your own, but two screw holes are provided on each side of the drive if you need them.
The bottom of the drive has four more screw holes for additional mounting options. No screws were provided inside the box, but that's not a big deal.
