SPECIFICATIONS

Zalman has entered the SSD market with two flavors of drives - the S-Series, which this review will focus on, and the N-Series. The S-Series is a more value oriented line that utilizes a JMicron controller, while the N-Series is geared toward enthusiasts and features a Sandforce controller. The N-Series drives have faster advertised read/write speeds and as a result, cost more than the S-Series.
S-Series drives are available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB capacities, while N-Series drives are available in 64GB and 128GB capacities. Both series use Intel MLC NAND flash chips.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Inside the box, you'll find the drive resting in a plastic tray to protect it during the shipping process. All pertinent information about the drive is listed out on the front, while some additional information in multiple languages is found on the back of the box.

Accessories include a quick start manual and a USB cable for accessing the drive externally. Current pricing on the S-Series is $249 US for the 128GB model, $149US for the 64GB model, and $99US for the 32GB model. As of this moment they are selling on Newegg for less.
