It can be argued that a mouse allows for the most precise movements when it comes to playing first person shooter (FPS) games. In the early days of PC games the options were limited to simple two button mice, but over the years the peripheral evolved into today's sophisticated, ergonomic gaming controller with adjustable DPI settings and several programmable buttons being the standard.
