PRODUCT COMPOSITION

So what do you get for the US$55-$65 price tag. Is it me, or does that seem to be priced pretty damn low for a Zalman product. They used to be a lot more expensive and competition must be getting pretty substantial for them to drop their release prices. But the consumer wins so that is all that I worry about.
First out is the mounting hardware for most, if not all, recent Intel and AMD models. Also included is Zalman's ZM-STG2 Super Thermal Grease, the Fan Mate 2 fan speed controller with its needed cables along with a case badge.
A installation manual is included and is easy to read and understand for whatever processor you are installing the cooler on. There is nothing worse than reading the tiny micro-text on some of the pitiful installation guides attached to some products lately. Thankfully, this wasn't a problem with this product.

And last out is the box is the main cooler. First impressions are that this is not bargain bin stamped metal cheapo cooler. This is a serious piece of hardware and the size and build quality of this behemoth has to be witnessed in person to fully appreciate it. There is not a blemish or bent fin and the heft of this substantial cooler will impress you. I am excited to see how it will perform. Hopefully it performs as well as it looks.
More on that on the next page.
