PRODUCT COMPOSITION

If you do some shopping, you can easily score this system for between US$250-$300. It will include the following.

Just for starters, this huge box weighs in at a staggering 27.4kg (60.4 lbs.). Make sure whoever you are sending to pick this system up has a strong back. Saying this box is hard to manage up a flight of stairs is an understatement.

First out of the box will be the full size setup and installation poster along with the pocket sized user's manual. Follow the easy instructions to connect these speakers to your computer, DVD player, Playstation/Xbox or any sound signal source you want to wake the neighbors with.

Next item you will unearth is the handy infrared remote control and included batteries. I will go over the remote in a little more detail in the next section.

The only cable included in this package was this six foot long computer surround soundcard signal patch cord. No other audio cables were included. For the price, I would have thought Logitech would have thrown in even a three foot long digital optical or coaxial cable for trouble free installation with something other than a computer.

As the main control hub for the whole system, the included Digital SoundTouch™ Control Center houses all the audio connections and adjustment features for digital or analog listening. More on that in the next walkthrough section coming up in a couple of pages.
