PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS & FEATURES (cont'd)
Each satellite including the center has a removable mesh grill which you can remove for cleaning or if you like a more studio look from your speaker system.
The stand on the base of the satellites can be altered for wall installation with a quick twist of the wrist. Each stand come with holes for wall attachment screws and also have rubber feet to lower the occurence of rattling between the speaker and the drywall.
The center speaker is exactly the same speaker as the corner satellites other than the different orientaion and stand insertion. As mentioned below, it is also fed a slightly higher amount of power as well.
All five of the satellites including the are comprised of dual ported 2.5" aluminum phase plug driver which handles both the high and middle frequencies very well. I am not going to use thousands of dollars of equipment and digital readouts to show you this. I trust you know how many speaker systems I have tested and how I can pick up a shortfall in a system. If I cannot pick it up, you won't be able to either.
The four corner satellites are each supplied with 35.25 watts RMS whereas the center channel get a healthier 39 watts RMS seeing it does handle a lot of the sound output when you are using the speaker system in a true 5.1 surround listening environment. Also remember total power is equal to twice the RMS power. So with that 39W RMS center channel is putting out 78 watts MAX. Realistically, that is not too bad for a 2.5" speaker.
