Two channel speaker systems much like any other computer component are divided equally into three defined markets. The first is low end budget where any speaker system will do and all you need to here is the bells and chimes associated with your operating system or some very light background music listening. The middle of the road mainstream user wants a reasonably priced system that may or may not have a subwoofer included, but they still want a full range decent sounding system that they can use when playing music or gaming.

What is remaining is the enthusiast market filled with audiophile gamers, music lovers and bass junkies that have a taste for loud high quality computer audio that can rattle pictures off of walls and turn your once kind neighbors into complaining wall pounding demons.

If you are looking for a budget or small mainstream system, pick up your bags and keep on moving, but, if you want a system that will have your eardrums flapping like bird wings you might as well grab a drink, sit down and for the love of god hold on.
