CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS
With literally hundreds of MP3 player choices on the market,
you have to boil down realistically what you really want in the feature
department.
How much memory do you want?
How much do you want it to weigh?
How small do you want it?
Do you want radio capability?
Do you require extended battery life?
Do you require voice recording?
The question list can go on and on for several pages.
Some people require more than others. Some people require the product
to be cheap and some require nothing but the basics. This is a tough
job I have at hand. I have to convey to the knowledgeable why they should
choose this product for their upgrade or to convince the average consumer
why they should purchase a product like the YP-780V as their first product.
To be completely honest with you, I wouldn't consider
it a good buy. Sure it has loads of features but the US$199 price tag
can get you a lot more storage space if you go some shopping via the
pricegrabber link at the top of this page. If the price dropped $50
then I would consider buying it but as it stands now, it's just plain
too expensive for what you get.
Pros:
- Excellent Quality & Workmanship
- 256 Megs of Onboard Memory
- Direct MP3 Encoding
- FM Radio
- Long Battery Life
- Voice Recording
- Excellent Hardware Bundle
Cons:
- Availability
- Way to Expensive for what you get
