First off, let's take you on a brief trip around you potential new purchase and point of some of the exterior features.
The front control buttons comes complete with your usual track forward and reverse buttons along with a center "Navi" button which allows you to navigate through the player features when in use. The Navi button also serves as the up and down navigation key to scroll through certain menu items in addition to being the main volume control during media playback.
On the left side of the player you have the hold lock so you can enjoy your playback without any interruption from bump causing you to press a button by mistake. Beside the hold button is a multifunction button which serves as the record button when encoding from an external audio source or the radio. It also serves as the cycle control for your MP3 playback.
On the right side you have the main power button which also serves as the play and pause control when listening or watching you media. Just as a side note, the player will turn off after 30 seconds or so if paused for extended periods of time. This saves battery life and removes the risk of leaving the player on by mistake. The button to the right is the main menu access button to cycle through the animated function display.
