PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The retail box is small, colorful and informative. Complete socket support information as well as detailed specifications and features lists are provided, along with some relatively high quality pictures of the cooler/fan unit.

Inside, all the goodies are tucked into a relatively small space. Along with the heatsink and fan, Xigmatek includes the mounting solutions for both AMD and Intel platforms (complete with backplates,) rubber fan mounts, thermal compound, a fold-out user's manual and warranty information.

Mr. Bones is intrigued by Loki's compact size serrated fin array, and gives the overall fit and finish of the cooler high marks.

The individual fins are closed off on the sides, keeping the airflow from the 92mm fan concentrated inside the fin array. Three 6mm copper heatpipes pull heat away from the base and deliver it to the finned area to be dissipated by the fan.
