XIGMATEK ELYSIUM INTRODUCTION
Big, full-tower cases have always been popular with PC enthusiasts. With lots of room for extensive hardware sets, configuration options and excellent cooling potential, new full-tower cases always generate a lot of buzz when they hit the market. They are, however, often very pricey and can be…well…a bit on the homely side. And, some enthusiasts are just never satisfied. “More room!” they cry. More bays, more slots, more fans!”
Well, as it happens, Xigmatek has just released a huge chassis (they call it a super tower,) in response to EVGA's unleashing of the massive and uber-featured SR-2 motherboard. Xigmatek's Elysium chassis takes its name from Greek and Roman mythology, with The Elysian Fields (or Elysian Plains,) being the final resting place of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous. There are very, very few cases large enough to support a fully outfitted SR-2 platform and will cost as much or more than the SR-2 mobo itself. This super tower chassis will also support up to four graphics cards, large liquid cooling components and a staggering number of drives and other devices. The rich feature set includes large fans, built-in fan control, a well appointed front I/O panel and even a few lighting features for added visual appeal.
