BENCHMARKING
3DMARK2001SE SYNTHETIC DIRECTX BENCHMARK
Everyone knows this DirectX 8.1 benchmark. Still to this day, it is one of the most used benchmarks worldwide.

As you can see, the X300 is not a performer by any means. The DX8.1 benchmarking can be summed as being adequate for the occasional gamer wanting to play less graphically intense games at 1024x768 or lower resolution.
GLEXCESS v1.2V SYNTHETIC OPENGL BENCHMARK
To compliment a synthetic DirectX benchmark, you must include an OpenGL version.

OpenGL performance is much like what was seen while benchmarking using DX8.1. Performance is low, but is completely justified by this value targeted videocard. If these numbers are too low, perhaps you will want to try out the X600 based options which are about US$70-$100 more.
Overall, no surprises yet.
