PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The saying that old habits are hard to break is true when speaking about a lot of things, including PC gaming. Some die hard fans of a particular keyboard, whether it is a cheap standard keyboard or a fancy gaming one, tend to stick with what works for them and not deviate from their trusty input device. Then there are those who will try any new gadget that comes along in hopes of improving speed, accuracy and comfort for those long gaming sessions. I'm somewhere in the middle – new and unique products are exciting, but at the same time it's hard to give up something that just works.

Wolfking hopes to attract all kinds of gamers with their line of gaming keyboards. My previous review sample from them, the Warrior game pad, left me pleasantly surprised with its circular key layout. All of the keys I needed were within easy reach and the custom size of the frequently used keys made for a comfortable gaming experience. Now Wolfking has taken the design of the Warrior one step further and introduced the Warrior XXtreme, a hybrid that fuses the original Warrior together with an additional circular arrangement of 47 keys. Will the added keys bring about an even better gaming experience, or just be in the way? Let's find out.
