CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

Next time you're out shopping for a gaming mouse, definitely take the Trooper MVP into consideration. It has enough buttons and DPI levels to keep many different types of gamers satisfied, but the main advantage I found over comparable mice was comfort. The ergonomics of the mouse are exceptional which prevents cramping and other issues over long periods of use. I do not feel that any product will instantly make someone a better gamer, but I do believe a high quality input device along with practice can help improve skills over time.
The Trooper MVP works great as an everyday use mouse too. 800 DPI is just right for internet surfing and navigating around email and Office programs. The laser technology allows for precise movement on both a bare table and a mouse pad. Laser mice will also work on reflective surfaces unlike optical mice, so there's a little more flexibility all around.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Sturdy
- Excellent tracking
- Adjustable DPI
- Up to four shots per click by using the “speed” button
Cons:
- Short cord
- Software leaves a bit to be desired
