PRODUCT CONCLUSIONS:
With the losing war that we all fight with spyware, adware and pop-ups the only weapon we've had in terms of killing processes was the Windows task manager. That has all changed now, no longer is it a blind maneuver! We have descriptions, and pretty graphs that explain what is doing what. Mind you, if you are a little computer wary, you could do most of what this product offers through a couple of freeware programs off of the net if you do some searching.
WinTasks is a great tool for doing what it does, and it does do exactly what it says it does. Uniblue (formerly LIUtilities) has given us the perfect compliment to our arsenal against the evil software monkeys of the future. Everything is neatly bundled into one seamless program to take the guesswork and confusion out of checking for viruses, malicious services, and adware.
Editor's Addition: I find the US$49.95 a little higher for what the product actually does. Sure it works well, but it is just a glorified task manager with a little more control. This software would definite become more popular if they made it a lot more affordable. At this high price, Uniblue is just begging the consumer to find more affordable alternatives.
