PRODUCT FEATURES & SOFTWARE WALKTHROUGH
The first thing you will have to do is click on the Setup tab.

From here, you have to make certain the proper COM port is selected. You can also select the LCD selection size (why anyone would choose 16 over 20 characters across is beyond me). You can select how you want the time displayed and the communication information (how the device communicates through the COM port… it is unlikely you'll need to touch these settings).

You may want to pop quickly into the Test tab and play around for a couple minutes to make certain that the interface between the software and the LCD works properly.

You'll want to install Motherboard Monitor (MBM) on your system to be able to take advantage of this great plug in. All you have to do is run MBM at startup and the specs will show up on your LCD. This is a great way to keep a close eye on your system. It can display the temperatures, voltages, speed, etc… This is especially handy for overclockers.

The next tab is for the Winamp plugin. This will give you an equalizer type effect on your LCD, showing you a bouncing spectrum to coincide with your tunes.

The OS/Sys tab allows you to configure which operating system and general system snippets you'd like to see displayed on your LCD. You can see information about various software versions (OS, IE, DirectX) as well as perform checks.
