PRODUCT WALKTHROUGH & PICTORIAL
Moving from the bottom up, the stable circular base allows for a full 360 degrees of rotation. This base is very common throughout the Viewsonic LCD monitor product line.
The lower monitor bezel measures in at 1 3/4 inches and houses the main power and integrated microphone. The underside of the lower bezel also houses the included two watt speakers. Although they are functional, they aren't anything more than what is needed for basic sound for your computer environment and will not be a replacement for a decent set of speakers.
The left and right side bezel measures in at one inch and has the integrated menu controls on the right hand side. Also there is a headphone connection if you want to hook your headset directly to the monitor instead of using the monitor's speakers. Please excuse the dust, without the flash the monitor looks flawlessly clean. With a flash, things look rather dirty when they are indeed not. One of the faults of using a black finish.
The top 1 1/4 inch bezel houses the integrated 1.3 megapixel camera and the operational LED. The bright blue LED illuminates only when the camera is on and does catch the eye and remind you to turn it off after a video chat session. More on the camera operation in the product use section.
The monitor's rear portion is very simple and void of anything really to discuss with than the aesthetically pleasing design and ample ventilation openings. Just watch out for fingerprints.
