PRODUCT COMPOSITION
For a reasonable price around the US$365-$375 range, you will receive the following.
Other than the usual setup paper and the driver CD, you will receive an AC power cable, a DVI and analog video cable along with a USB hookup for the monitor's USB hub. Seeing the monitor has speakers, a powered USB 2.0 hub and is meant to charge your iPod, an extra power supply is needed to supply power to these separate components. The only thing left is what is contained in the white box which will be explained below.
The white box contains the several adapters so you can use various iPod models with this monitor. All you have to do is pop in the one that is made for your player, and your iPod will be setup to cradle the player perfectly when docked.
And at last you have the
VX2245wm in all its' multifunctional glory. As you can see, this is actual quite an attractive monitor which should look great on any user's desk. Just keep in mind that this monitor has a black mirror finish and as you see, fingerprints can become a concern once it has been handled a bit. The weird thing is you can't see the fingerprints until you use a flash. Grumble.....
