PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

Here you can see how the heatpipes and fins are arranged. The construction and soldering is top-notch.

The two heatpipes pull the heat away from the base and transfer it to the fins to be blown away by the fan. The base has a very impressive, mirror-like finish seldom seen anymore. The overall build quality and finish of the VF900-Cu is excellent, as is the execution of the design.

Mounting arms radiating out from the center give the VF900-Cu excellent compatibility. In conjunction with the other mounting hardware, this cooler is also very easy to install.

Zalman provides this chart on their website (and in the manual) to give the user some idea of compatibility. I don't know how complete this is, but it was the best resource I could find.

The FanMate 2 controller allows the user to adjust fan speed via the small knob (red arrow). Male and female 3-pin connectors allow the controller to be connected to a motherboard header. This cable is almost three feet long, allowing the FanMate 2 to be placed outside the case, should the user wish to do so. Double-sided foam tape is provided to secure the controller to any flat surface.
