The adapter is roughly the size of a credit card, only thicker. Construction is plastic and while it is very lightweight, it doesn't feel cheaply made.

…as well as a hard wired 3ft. USB 3.0 cable.. The cable is shielded and of high quality.

The power cable has an on/off toggle switch located about six inches away from the plug, so it's easy to access when you need to.
