Next is Privacy, which scans and removes browsing history, cookies, visited internet history, and other internet related files. It also compresses the index.dat file on startup.

File Shredder is pretty self explanatory, in a virtual way anyhow. Deleting a file through this utility ensures that it will not be recoverable in any way.

The Uninstall Manager not only gets rid of a program, it claims to do it more cleanly than going through add/remove programs in the windows control panel. A cleaner uninstall results in less file fragmentation and more free space made.


Settings are fairly basic. General settings include starup, system tray, and automatic scanning functions, and the Clean Up section has options for choosing which drive to scan and whether to move deleted files to the recycle bin first or simply get rid of them for good.
