PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

True to its name, the Big Typhoon is a large cooler with six copper heatpipes, a copper base, aluminum fins and a low-speed 120mm fan. This configuration promises good cooling and near silent operation. Like most Thermaltake coolers, the Big Typhoon has wide compatibility supporting most AMD and Intel sockets. An updated version, the VX is also available. Details can be found HERE .

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The Big Typhoon is widely available, and careful shopping can get you a Big Typhoon for $40-$45 US. Here is what you'll get for your money.

The retail packaging is well done and consists of a plastic clamshell container with a printed cardboard insert that lists features and applications.

Inside the packaging is the cooler along with a black box containing the mounting solutions and installation guide. The cooler includes a protective foam block which, of course, must be removed before installation.
