So, what makes this product tick? Really not a whole lot, this is a simple product that is just as simple to install.

As stated before, the PCI card is just more or less a RF Modulator and decoder.

Simple is the name of the game. You have three connections you are going to have to deal with. Moving from left to right, you first have the yellow composite video input jack for patching in such devices as your VCR, DVD Player, Camcorder etc.

Moving right you will see the coaxial cable connection for your cable TV or perhaps if you are in the country, maybe your amplified antenna. You can also patch a satellite signal in but remember, you will have to set the TV Tuner software to a certain channel and use your satellite remote to change the channels.

To the far right is the stereo audio output to patch through your soundcard or external amplifier via the patch cable or the adapter mentioned in the previous section.

It's just that easy. Turn your computer off, pop the card into an open PCI slot, restart the computer, install the software drivers for the card, reboot, install the remote wonder drivers, reboot, plug in the USB receiver for the remote control, install Gemstar TV Guide Plus+, plug in your cable and audio connections and enjoy. It's absolutely painless and will have you watching TV on your PC in about 5-10 minutes max.
