PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Five or six years ago, a fledgling PC aftermarket company named Thermaltake debuted their “Xaser II” chassis. It got rave reviews and the Xaser series went on to a long and storied run. The latest offering in this vein is the Xaser VI (VG4000 series) full-tower aluminum behemoth, and Thermaltake has been gracious enough to let us have one to test for our readers. As you can see, we have model VG4000SNA denoting a brushed silver finish with black mesh accents, but there are several models to choose from.

The Xaser IV comes in black or silver finish with either transparent side windows or ventilated mesh panels in black or red. Models are also available with embedded liquid cooling features. The previous Xaser cases were not what you'd call subtle in their styling, and the Xaser IV is no exception. It's bold look and large dimensions give the Xaser IV a definite presence that will be difficult, if not impossible to ignore. Combined with an extensive and innovative feature list, this latest Xaser is really something special. Is it the perfect case? Follow along and decide for yourself.
