<--SHOP FOR A THERMALTAKE VOLCANO 4005 HEAT EXCHANGER CPU WATERBLOCK HERE

PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

I've had some heavy heatsinks over the years, but this one is especially heavy. Weighing in at a hefty 874 grams (nearly 2 pounds), it's the heaviest I've ever worked with. Be careful when installing it!

The Volcano has its own radiator constructed with 10 copper liquid loop channels that dissipate heat on the aluminum fins as the liquid moves through the tubes from the CPU back to the pump. Optionally, an 80mm or 90mm fan can be attached to the side.

The outlet hose has a Y-connector to accelerate the transfer of liquid.

The base of the brazed copper block has a nice mirror finish to it.
