PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

On the bottom of the case, the same very short feet are retained, so you can forget about putting it on a carpeted surface. Also, most power supplies geared for gaming machines are quite long and will probably cover the filter entirely, requiring the user to remove the PSU to clean the filter. This is unlikely to happen with any regularity, leading to the power supply getting starved for air and the obvious problems associated with it. Moving the filter to the outside of the case and some taller case feet would eliminate this issue.

All the hardware is black to match the interior finish, as is the PSU brace, but Thermaltake has included two white zip-ties to help with cable management.

The front panel wiring is clearly labeled and sensibly organized. I like the fact that the power LED connectors are separate, as there doesn't seem to be a consensus among motherboard manufacturers as to power LED pinout.
That about wraps up our tour of Thermaltake's V9 Black Edition chassis. The new 230mm fan in the side panel is the major upgrade from the original V9 and I'm curious to see if this new feature helps the cooling performance. Let's get some hardware in it and see how it does.
