As far as the specs and feature list go, the Black Edition is virtually identical to the original, with the exception of black powder coating for (it appears from the description,) the inside of the chassis and the addition of a 230mm side fan in lieu of the panel window.

 

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The box and packaging are materially unchanged from the original V9, and the case arrived undamaged despite some obvious mishandling by the shipper.

A 230mm fan adorns the side panel of the new Black Edition V9, and its location would appear to be about right to provide airflow across expansion cards and the CPU area as well. The manual and warranty information is provided in a plastic bag outside the case.
