PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Besides the Toughpower PSU…

…there is an abundance of high-quality and attractive accessories included here. We'll go over them in more detail in the next section, but there is a black nylon bag containing the modular cables as well as two 6 to 8 pin graphics adapters and a 4-pin extension cable. A heavy gauge wall cord, a silicone PSU gasket, some Velcro wraps along with mounting screws and a metal case badge round out the contents of the cartons.
PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

This XT has the familiar gray finish we've seen from Thermaltake Toughpower offerings in the past. The Toughpower XT uses a 14cm dual-ball bearing fan and features their S.F.C. Quiet technology to minimize fan noise while keeping the unit cool. Thermaltake assures us that the XT 750W will deliver stable continuous output in a 50C environment. Unscrupulous suppliers will test their products at ridiculously low temperatures, but that's not the case here. Thermaltake also backs all this up with a 5-year warranty, which is always good to see.

The rear of the XT is relatively plain with honeycomb mesh for ventilation. There's a power switch but no input voltage selector as the XT does those chores internally.

There is, however a small slide switch that controls the fan delay feature that allows the user to control how long the 14cm fan should continue to operate (up to 30 seconds) after system shutdown.
