PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH
The Thermaltake SpinQ VT was designed to follow in the footsteps of the older SpinQ CPU cooler. It features the classic“cylinder” body shape; along with a 3pcs “U” shape heatpipe design. The only difference is that is its vertical tower orientation when compared the the standard SpinQ's horizontal construction.
What really makes this cooler stand out are the 50 spiraled shape copper fins. This particular design allows for greater surface area of heat to dissipate from the cooler. Inside of the heatsink is a 80mm turbine blower fan with a fan speed rating of 1000RPM to 1600RPM and a max airflow of 86.5CFM while still being very quiet.
The SpinQ VT sports an impressive number of heatpipes, six to be exact made of three continuous lengths of tubing. It doesn't end there, along with the amount of heatpipes; Thermaltake has organized them into a 3pcs “U” shape design to ensure high efficiency. Last but not least, you have an aluminum & copper base with an almost mirror coated base. Not to bad!
The included 80mm blow fan comes with an attached fan controller which can increase or decrease the fan speed from 1000-1600RPM. there is no PWN control but keep in mind that at full speed it is still only putting out 28dBa.
Now the fun starts! Let's install the cooler and begin testing shall we?
