CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

Thermaltake's Mobile Fan 12 seems to be a product in search of a purpose, from my perspective anyway. It's actually quite well done and functions as it should, but I just don't see the need for it, and I imagine it will wreak havoc with a laptop battery's charge. But hey, if you've got an extra twenty dollars burning a hole in your pocket and think a USB desktop fan is just what you need, by all means go for it. It could help keep you cool during an online fragfest or when furiously documenting your latest adventures on Facebook. Then there are always the dreaded hot flashes, but I doubt that many women with this problem will be reading this review.
Pros:
- Performs as advertised
- Nifty cable reel
- Compact and portable
- Built in fan speed controller
- Quiet
Cons:
- Uhhh…why?
- Not very attractive
