According to Thermaltake lore, Zoe is the Goddess of Victory and is displayed prominently on all ISGC product packaging. We'll see if she can be victorious over excessive processor heat a little later, but for now let's see what's in the box.
With the cleaver packing materials removed, we get a look at the 300 with its pre-attached fan, mounting solutions and documentation, including the manual, warranty info and Thermaltake's Key 3 Spirit program and case sticker. We'll go over the mounting stuff in more detail a bit later, but I'm likin' what I'm seein' so far.
PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH
Aesthetically, the 300 is nicely proportioned with a “stocky” look that betrays its true height. The copper heatpipes extend through the 33 aluminum fins and are then covered by decorative black plastic caps.
The heatpipes have an unusual arrangement and describe an arc across the finned area, rather that a straight line. Notches in the fins interface with the wire spring clips to secure the fan to the cooler. While there are notches on the other side, Thermaltake doesn't include an extra set should the user wish to go with a dual-fan configuration.
