PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

As you can see from the spec, the Element G is a mid-tower steel chassis with a plastic bezel. There's room for lots of drives, and even a couple of spots for 2.5-inch “laptop drives.” Thermaltake's cooling design for the Element G looks promising with four large, quiet fans moving air through the chassis. There are several other features here that Thermaltake hopes will lower the noise levels produced by this chassis while adding some style, too. As you can see in the feature list, there is liberal use of alliterative “G-words” to describe the case. We'll explore these, as well as the rest of the features, a little later.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Thermaltake's carton is sturdy and colorful with numerous graphics illustrating the Element G and its many features, but they've outdone themselves on…

…the packaging. A blue microfiber bag protects the case finish and the case is sandwiched between sturdy Styrofoam blocks. A zip-bag containing the manual and other paperwork is provided, and you won't have to open the case to get at it.

You will have to crack the case open to get at the accessories, however. All the hardware is sorted and segregated by usage to facilitate an easier installation. Note that most of the hardware is black to match the interior and Thermaltake has included two fan mounts, a peripheral security clip and a couple of zip-ties as well.
