PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The V2 cooler itself has an unusual design. The two innermost heatpipes make some fairly severe twists and turns to get to the cooling fins.

This allows the cooler to be much thinner than would otherwise be possible. The overall fit and finish is excellent and there is evidence that the tube/fin connection is soldered for maximum heat transfer.

The baseplate, with integral mounting arms, is machined from a single piece of copper and soldered to the main body. The heatpipes are sandwiched between these components and there is a lot of contact area here. This looks to be a very efficient design. The base finish doesn't have a mirror finish, but its surface is dead flat and should provide good performance.
