PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

If you spend much time in online computer forums, I'm sure you've read it many, many times. “Which thermal paste is best?” For the last several years a couple of products by a single supplier seem to always top the list. The occasional challenger steps up, but so far no one seems to be able to dethrone the reigning king. Thermalright has a sterling reputation for providing high quality, high performance cooling solutions to the PC enthusiast market for many years. While they never include fans with their coolers, they do provide a small tube of thermal paste, and it seems to be the same stuff that most other companies supply with their respective coolers. (I half-expect to someday see a tanker truck on the interstate with “Generic Thermal Paste” emblazoned on it.) Recently, Thermalright has entered the thermal paste fray with a product they call “The Chill Factor.” They've graciously sent us a sample for review and, given Thermalright's reputation, I have high hopes that this product will give the enthusiast community another name to throw around in the forums.
