PRODUCT COMPOSITION

With a price tag of approximately $750 US, it is imperative that the NAS be packaged carefully to avoid any damage during transit. I was pleased to see the unit was well protected by foam blocks and wrapped in plastic. It arrived without a blemish on it.

Accessories include an Ethernet cable, power adapter, power cord, Li-Ion battery, software CD, backup CD, an assortment of screws and keys, and a quick start guide. The only component the user must supply is hard drives.

PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The N4200 is a heavy, solid unit due to its metal construction. An overview of the front shows an OLED screen at the top with navigation buttons below it, four drive bays below that, and…

…a second LCD is located on the side along with two USB 2.0 ports and a power button. This second LCD shows information related to HDD, LAN, and USB copy functions. We'll take a look at it in more detail later on in the review.
