PRODUCT FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Thecus packed a lot of features into a compact little box that doesn't take up a lot of space and looks nice to boot. It does not include any SATA hard drives; those are the responsibility of the end user. All the commonly used operating systems are supported including Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista, Unix/Linux/BSD, and MAC OS X, OS 9, OS 8.6. For data speed and redundancy, RAID 0, 1, and 5 are supported.
With an optional USB dongle, the N3200 can be used as a wireless access point. According to Thecus' website, compatible wireless dongles are the 3Com 3CRUSB10075, Zyxel G-220 USB, and PCI GW-US54mini.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The box is cube shaped and provides a handle for easy transport. A photo of the unit and some features are listed on the front. Current pricing is around $300 US.

With the packaging removed, we have the NAS protected by foam along with an external power supply, software CD, Ethernet cable, and quick install manual. There is a more in depth manual available for download from Thecus' website that describes configuration and setup in more detail.
PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The N3200 has a modern, attractive black finish and is fairly lightweight due to the aluminum construction. Each drive bay has a meshed material at the front to help aid in cooling, and the bottom half…

…features an LCD display, navigation buttons, USB 2.0 port, power button, and status lights for the network and drives. The display has a blue backlight and the power button lights up blue as well, although the status LEDs light up green or orange depending on activity.
