CONCLUSIONS & AFTERTHOUGHTS
While packing a full 8Gb, the Pico from Super Talent in my opinion at this given time is the world's smallest flash drive with such a large capacity. To be honest, how can they get any smaller and still be useable. Give it a couple years and the drive will be the USB connector itself with a small string to pull it out of the USB slot when you are finished. You might laugh, but I wouldn't put it past them.
With a price tag of under US$35 even when packing a full of 8 gigs of memory, the Pico drive is nothing less than a great deal. Hell, I have mousepads that cost more. Once this drive is on the market in full force, I can see it becoming one of the most popular USB drives out there. It's fast, it's remarkably small, it's cheap, and its a lot of fun to show your friends how huge (sarcasm) your 8Gb drive is.
By far it is one of the safest buys I have reviewed in a while.
Pros:
- Tiny
- Fast
- Build Quality
- Price
Cons:
- Availability
- Lack of an activity LED
