With storage being so cheap and accessible these days, more and more companies are releasing portable enclosures. Tweaknews has reviewed several hard drive enclosures from manufacturers well known in the enthusiast community, but today's review item comes from a company called Sunnytek. You may not have heard of them, but they specialize in storage products ranging from mobile racks to backplanes to external storage units. The latter is what I have on my desk for review – specifically the ST-2320 S/UESR dual-bay enclosure. It can accommodate two SATA hard drives and several different configurations including RAID 0/1 and JBOD. You have your choice of using USB 2.0 or the faster eSATA interface as well. Let's take a closer look and see what other features it offers.
