PRODUCT COMPOSITION & WALKTHROUGH (cont'd)

Unlike the 3H the 4H has ventilated acoustic chambers, which should mean less sweating over longer periods of use. In the photograph you can see the foam dust filters that not only filter dust but also help keep sound loss to a minimum.

Once again SteelSeries has used screws to secure the units components together as apposed to glue. This can come in handy if you need to open the units for any reason though for this price I don't see much point in repairing them should they break. You can also see the rotating design of the earphones, this allows for a much more comfortable fit by ensuring that pressure is evenly distributed over a larger surface area.

The headband is extendable as you can see above and has a cloth covered foam cushion for comfort. Its nice to see spring steel is used for the band as this will mean your headphones should last longer as well as retain their tension better. I have had so many headsets that end up falling off my head after just a few months of use. This should not be the case with the 4H.

Like the rest of the SteelSound series the 4H comes with a retractable microphone. This is one of my favorite features of the SteelSound headsets, we all hate things being in the way when not in use.

With the microphone extended you can see the plastic coated protective sheathing. I find this design pleasant to look at and easy to use. Once again the stalk is long enough to position near the left corner of your mouth.
