With the exception of the size and the overly bright indicator LEDs, this is a very sound product. To spice up the pot a bit more, the price is also very reasonable for a high quality optical mouse. If you are used to large mice and want more of the same then don't hesitate to give the Ikari a look. It is a very solid and comfortable mouse to use, and a sheer joy to game with. If you have small hands however then you may find the size a bit annoying.
At the risk of starting to sound like a SteelSeries fan boy I have had a great time reviewing this product and it has redefined what I expect from a good quality mouse. All this does not detract from the fact that some people will not find this mouse comfortable and that the white indicator LEDs are too bright. The size is not something I can penalize SteelSeries for but I feel the over bright LEDs are unforgivable in a product of this quality. I found them very distracting during gaming, made worse buy the fact that I like gaming in the dark so my case lights dazzle as they should. If SteelSeries tone the LEDs down a bit on their next revision of this mouse then they will be fully deserving of our top award. For now though I will award the Ikari our second highest award of Great Product.
