When you think about what part of your computer you interact with the most I am fairly sure there is one component you will likely overlook: Your mouse, almost from the time you turn on your PC you have your hand resting on it, I know I do. Today you can walk into just about any large store and buy a mouse and for the most part those mice are good enough for the average user. Enter the gamer; gamers need a lot more from their input devices than the average user. Durability and smooth movement are a must when you are in the middle of a 16-way frag fest. Today I'll be looking at a mouse designed specifically to meet those requirements, The SteelSeries Ikari Optical mouse. I am sure it does not have to be said that if you want quality for any application gaming specific components are usually the best quality around. The reason for this is simple games demand a lot more from your system than almost any other application. Lets see how the Ikari fares in both gaming and a few other more useful tasks.
