CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

Overall I have to say that I am very impressed. This case has all the features others in its price range do as well as several that even some high price cases do not. The overall cooling was also admirable. While the styling of the case is fairly utilitarian there is beauty in its simplicity, its not over bright front LEDs should also mean that it would be right at home anywhere in your home or office. Spire has shown us with the Swirl that cheap does not have to mean bad. I would happily recommend this case to anyone building a machine on a budget provided their motherboard's power connector is not placed squarely in the center like my test board's was.
Pros
- Stylishly simple design
- Folded edges
- Tooless mounts for drives and expansion cards
- Drive retention system on both sides of the drive enclosures
- Good cooling performance
- Neat front panel touch buttons and unobtrusive lights
- Side vent and fan on off switch
- Easy assembly
Cons
- Stylishly simple design (for you gamers)
- Not ideal for motherboards with center mounted power connections
- Front panel power adapter should have some documentation
