Multi-GPU setups seem to be the wave of the future for PC gaming enthusiasts. CrossFire and SLI technologies (from ATI and Nvidia, respectively) have been able to shatter previous single-card benchmarks, giving gamers uber framerates and stunning graphics. But, like most new technology, this super performance comes at a price, and not only in dollars. With two power-hungry graphics cards plus a high end CPU and peripherals to feed, the power supply has a big job to do. Choosing the right PSU for these systems is even more critical and difficult than ever before.
